Vices can be virtues; fight orthorexia!

Curiosity killed the cat; satisfaction brought it back.

I am a feminist. Simple definition of feminism: The radical idea that women are human.

Also: A married, liberal, not-quite-tree-hugging, pro-choice, atheist, gothy homebody, who's been a vegetarian and later a pescatarian (though not lately), as well as being an ex-smoker and publishing industry refugee. Up until this year, I've spent all but two years of my life so far west of the Continental Divide, mostly less than 5 miles from the Pacific Ocean. I've been a kitty-mommy for many years now (current furry chirruns are approximately 2.5 years old), and a mother to two tiny humans for over six years now.

Outside of knitting and reading, I used to spend a fair bit of time in Azeroth and Outland as an undead rogue, who's now 108. I've leveled a troll mage to 99, a pretty pretty goth princess BE DK to 97and an orc warlock to 82. I also play Civ V on easy-mode once my son's down for the count. I spent a year as a Ph.D. student in English literature, but life (now an elementary school student) happened, so I'm currently a SAHM. My spouse has a long-term lecturer contract in economics at a major university in Pittsburgh.

The journal's mostly friends-locked.
